This project presents an exclusive gift packaging design for Galaxy Chocolates, tailored for Valentine’s Day. The objective was to create a romantic and indulgent packaging solution that celebrates love while enhancing the luxurious appeal of the chocolates.

The project required designing packaging that securely holds small chocolates, preventing them from shifting during transit. The packaging needed to exude a premium feel and provide a meaningful unboxing experience, enhancing the perceived value of the gift pack. Additionally, the design had to ensure simplicity in its structure, facilitate efficient storage in warehouses, and streamline the overall production and assembly process.

The packaging was designed to deliver a premium and meaningful unboxing experience, with a thoughtfully layered approach. The first layer focused on the occasion, featuring meaningful communication as the highlight, setting an emotional and celebratory tone. The second layer unveiled the chocolates, creating an element of surprise while ensuring they remained securely in place during transit. This layered design not only protected the chocolates but also enhanced the overall gifting experience, aligning with the premium aesthetic and adding value to the product.
Inspired by Charley Harper's tile illustrations, I developed a grid-based tool in Processing. Simplifying intricate shapes and patterns into basic forms like rectangles and triangles was both challenging and eye-opening, offering a fresh perspective on design.
